We are proud to announce that Prime Companies has successfully organized the grand finals of the Prime Champion 🏆 Community Football League with the Weija Constituency. The event was a showcase of the amazing talent and passion of the youth in Ghana for both sports and esports.
The grand final tournament started with a curtain raiser match between the auto mechanic apprentices within the Weija SCC community. It was a friendly match that demonstrated the spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie among the participants.
The main event was a thrilling clash between Promising Stars and Homeboys FC, two of the best teams in the Weija Gbawe Community Football League. The league is a 5-a-side football tournament with 8 teams that play at the SCC DVLA Park each week. This was the 3rd edition of the league, and each team was eager to win the coveted trophy 🏆 and prove themselves as the best.
Promising Stars took an early lead with a goal in the first half, putting pressure on Homeboys FC to catch up. The match was full of exciting moments and skilful plays, but Promising Stars managed to hold on to their advantage and win the tournament. They celebrated with their fans and received their well-deserved trophy.
We would like to thank Prime Sports and Esports for their great support and engagement with the youth in Ghana. Mr Emmanuel Oduro Ampawah, the CEO of Prime Dubai and Director of Logistics of Esports Association Ghana, is the main man behind this event and he is simply a great guy, whose passion and love for the community is amazing. Keep up the good work!
We would also like to thank Esports Production Team for taking care of the live media recording and livestreaming of the event. They brought a professional touch to the event with their high-quality equipment and technology. Our shoutcasters, Vespas Kofi Sarpong and Boanteng Alexander, did a fantastic job of providing commentary and analysis for the viewers. They made the event more enjoyable and engaging for everyone.
We also appreciate Ragno Esports for their photography support, especially Mr Twum, who captured some beautiful moments from the event.
The event also featured awards for the best young discovery, goal king, and best player of the league. Congratulations to all the winners and nominees!
